Updated: Feb 2

If you're considering relocating to Ghana why not check out the Back to the Motherland Official Trailer by documentary filmmaker Pamela Sakyi (founder/director of SparkleLight Productions).

This documentary is the sequel to British Ghanaians: Lost In Translation which explored language endangerment in Ghanaian communities across the diaspora.

Pamela's latest documentary explores the reasons why some British Ghanaians in the diaspora are relocating back to Ghana.

Pamela also considers her own ancestral roots in Ghana and personal reasons for wanting to relocate to the town her family are from. The documentary features me, Dentaa Amoateng MBE, Michael Richardson (co-founder of Destination Africa), Entrepreneur Harm Kay, Lorissa Akua, (founder of The Only Way is Ghana), Papa Owusu-Ankomah (Ghana High Commissioner) Patrick Adom (founder of Very Puzzled), Yaw Awibah and many more.
